Biden’s Blunder: Controversial Claims Regarding His Late Son

While attending the G-7 summit in Japan last week President Biden made a stop to visit troops at Marine Corps Air Station in Iwakuni, Japan, Thursday, where he made an interesting comment. During the visit, the 80-year-old President told troops his son, Beau, died in Iraq. If it makes you feel any better, this isn’t the first time the President made that comment.

“My son was a major in the U.S. Army. We lost him in Iraq,” the 80-year-old president said during an exchange with troops at Marine Corps Air Station in Iwakuni, Japan, on Thursday. The president visited Japan this month for the G-7 Leaders’ Summit.

The truth is that Beau died of brain cancer in 2015 at the Walter Reed Military Hospital in Bethesda, Maryland. It is believed that Beau’s cancer was caused by burn pits in Iraq, which Biden has mentioned in other instances and even signed legislation on. Though following his most recent comments a White House Spokesperson told Fox News that the president likely made the claim Beau died in Iraq since his brain cancer was likely caused by prolonged exposure to the burn pits in Iraq. Yet again making excuses for the President and his trip-ups, if you want to call them that.

Biden’s comments were instantly criticized as the clearly incompetent President is set to run for reelection in 2024. His episodes, if you will, have only been added fuel for concerns that the President is just too old and not equipped to continue to undertake the hardest job in the country. Recent polls are showing that 68% of voters believe he is too old to serve a second term and now even his fellow Democratic party members are beginning to think America might just be right.
