The United States has more mass casualty events than many other high-income countries in the world. So far with just this year alone, there have been over 610 mass shootings in the US. NBC Philadelphia has said that “200 days into 2022, there has been an average of 13 mass shootings a week.” They have also stated that July alone hosted the most amount of mass shootings as 89 mass shootings happened in just that one month.
The mass shootings are a sign of the deuteriation of the common sense of country’s population.
