Former President Donald Trump has confirmed he voted for Florida Governor Ron DeSantis Tuesday. As election day is underway, Trump confirmed voting for the incumbent Governor over Democratic challenger Charlie Crist. Trump cast his vote in Palm Beach, Florida along with his wife, Melania. He also mentioned his hopes that Republicans can win Congress and tackle hard-hitting issues like crime and inflation.

Trump and DeSantis have had an apparent rift in the last couple of months as Trump has continued to tease his 2024 run for Presidency. Just Saturday night trump dubbed DeSantis “Ron DeSanctimonious” at a rally in Pennsylvania. Now some Republicans are splitting elegance to the former President and current Florida Governor.

Though there is a rift between the two, it was good to see Trump supporting the Governor in Florida’s midterm election. As well as stepping up to support the party in a crucial election cycle.
